Admissions Term Non-UCSD and Ph.D. candidates: Fall quarter admission only.
GRE GRE general test required.
GRE Subject Test GRE subject test required.
TOEFL or IELTS Exam The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is required for international applicants whose native language is not English and who have not studied full-time for one uninterruped year at a university-level institution in a country where English is the official language.

Specific Program Requirements M.S. and Ph.D.: Overall GPA of 3.0 (B average) in last two years of study required. For GRE October test dates strongly recommended. TWE is recommended but not required of all international applicants whose native language is not English.
